the short version ✎
i'm a 14-year-old who's into a lot of things, and fine with a few i'm not. i'd like to think i'm a decent human: competitive when it counts, and occasionally funny without meaning to be.
what i love ✦
rollercoasters and theme parks, movies, aerospace, space science, physics, and math. i love building and construction: the rockets, the model aircraft, and (someday) robotics and mechanical engineering. i also love sketching, even if the time for it has faded a bit. and a big one: i play competitive tennis.
tennis & my brother 🎾
i play competitive tennis, currently at a 7 UTR. i've also got a younger brother, about half my age, who loves tennis a googolplex more than i do, and definitely has bigger dreams in it. he wants to be the best tennis player in the world someday, and i support him and coach him along the way.
as a person 👀
i'm kind of a nerd, but i'll be honest: i'm also lazy and i procrastinate. that's the real me.
what i want to be 🚀
when i grow up, i want to be some mix of an aerospace engineer and a space scientist.
friends & the road ahead ✷
along the way i've made friends from around the world who share my passions and dreams, some who feel almost identical to me. i even have a friend from norway with the same exact everything as me. here's hoping the next four years are good ones: that i get into the schools i'm aiming for, and maybe even enjoy the ride while getting there.
free time 🎮
in my free time i used to play rocket league, but i've stopped for a bit, turning my console into a dusty, ancient windows computer.
the k'nex coaster 🎢
a couple years ago i built a huge k'nex roller coaster. fun idea, less fun execution. i had to build it out in the shed, which is not exactly a comfortable workspace. plenty of parts snapped, and connecting the tiny gears genuinely shredded the tips of my fingers. it took about two weeks.
then it broke while i moved it upstairs to my room: the chain that pulls the car up the lift hill gave out, which cost me another week to fix. and after all that, it still wouldn't run the full circuit, so i have to lubricate the track every single time i want to use it. not a fun process. but the outcome is pretty cool.
